He is survived by: his wife Elsie Newsome Gaither; his daughter Valerie Gaither Waller (Charlie); his siblings, Jean Wells, Ellen Draper and David Gaither; and his grandchildren, Alyson Pennetta, Kirstyn Waller and Austin Mitchell.
Visitation was held on Friday, January 24th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 10:45 AM at the Enterprise Baptist Church (404 Enterprise Rd, Littleton, NC 27850). A burial was held on Friday, January 24th 2025 at 10:45 AM at the same location.
The family asks that any memorials be made to St. Jude's Children's Hospital.
