In the vast expanse of eternity, Susie Workman shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Susie Workman farewell, her loved ones carry with them the precious gift of her memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Clifford Workman and Cora Lulu Workman; and her brothers, Leon and Jeff Workman. She is survived by: her husband Melvin Chaffin; her daughter Cindy; her son-in-law Harry Waggoner; her granddaughter Kesley Hamby; her grandson-in-law Brandon Hamby; her great grandchildren, Liam and Waverly Hamby; her sister-in-law Lucinda Workman; and her niece Kimberly Workman.
A memorial service was held on Saturday, January 18th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Lake Gaston Baptist Church (2378 Eaton Ferry Rd, Littleton, NC 27850).
