He was predeceased by: his parents, Rene Lynch Richardson and John Henry Richardson; his siblings, Mirion Reid, Maybelle West, Ida Mae West, Teasie Boone, Lucinda Alston, Irene Pullen, Basie Richardson and Willie Junior Richardson; and his daughter Patricia Richardson Alston.
He is survived by: his sister Ella Richardson Batchelor of Roanoke Rapids, NC; his daughter Malinda Richardson (Tookie) of Roanoke Rapids, NC; his grandchildren, Latelsha Richardson of New York, Deangelo Alston of Florida, Maressa Graham of Roanoke Rapids, NC, Andrew "AJ" Alston of Roanoke Rapids, NC, Kwijay Alston of Charlotte, NC, Jermaine Carter of Roanoke Rapids, NC, Tamesha Carter of Enfield, NC and Jamel Rogers of Garysburg, NC; and his close friend Claire Harvey of Roanoke Rapids, NC. He is also survived by 13 great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and many friends.
