He was predeceased by: his parents, Wiley Phipps and Laura Edmonds Phipps. He is survived by: his daughter Mary Rudd (Elton); his son-in-law Myron Richardson; his granddaughter Yulanda Hedgepeth (Tommie); his sisters, Endie Webb, Earlean Phipps, Georgianna Stovall and Evelyn Wills; and his friends, Ernest Johnson, Eddie Bowser, Leon Alston and Trenton Smith. He is also survived by three great-grandchildren.
Because of Covid-19, the wearing of masks, social distancing, and limiting the number of persons in attendance will be practiced.
