She was predeceased by: her husbands, Ralph Harrison Lane, Sr. and Richard E. Courser; and her children, Martha Ruth Lane and Ralph Harrison Lane, Jr.. She is survived by: her grandchildren, Mitchell E. Lane, Zackary B. Lane, Matthew J. Lane, Ralph Harrison Lane III and James Thomas Manning III. She is also survived by her thirteen great grandchildren.
Martha was the Owner and Operator of Stonehouse Timber Lodge on Lake Gaston and loved to contribute to her community by ways of donation to local events and charities.
