He was predeceased by: his brother Charles E. Lyles, Jr.. He is survived by: his wife Dana Mustian Lyles; his children, Kayla Alece Lyles, Amy Saretta Davis, Crystal Gayle Lyles and Mabry Darryl Lyles, Jr.; his grandchildren, Samaria Davis, Simone Davis, Amare Davis, Alexis Ross-Gibbs, Cameron Ross, Jordyn Ross, Justin Ross, Mabry Darryl Lyles III, Peyton Lyles and Ethan Lyles; and his great grandchildren, Gabrielle Gibbs and Ezrah Grainger.
Because of Darryl's love for animals the family asks that in lieu of flowers that memorials be directed to the Warren County Animal Ark, 142 Rafters Lane, Warrenton, NC 27589.
