He was predeceased by: his parents, John E. Parlett and Mary Virginia Etheridge Parlett; and his wife Mary J. Parlett. He is survived by: his children, Charlotte A. Miles and Joseph J. Parlett, Jr.. He is also survived by four grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
