He was predeceased by: his parents, John Manley and Pattie Sippline Manley; his sister Everlener Jones; his siblings-in-law, Thomas Alston, Leslie Jones, Simon Edwards, Charlie Mills, Ned Mills, Milton Mills, Billy Hines and Alberta Jones; and his son-in-law Alvin Boone.
He is survived by: his great-nephew Jalen Alston; his wife Castina "Faye" Manley; his daughters, Cynthia Robinson (Jeffrey) of Roanoke Rapids, NC, Dishecal Manley, Melva Manley of Laurel, MD and Latanua Manley (Leon) of Halifax, NC; his grandchildren, Teon, Boy, Vanodd "Hot Shot" Manley and India "Indy" Boone; his sisters, Nettie Edwards of Roanoke Rapids, NC and Karen "Boss Lady" Alston of Littleton, NC; and his sisters-in-law, Alice M. Whitaker of Roanoke Rapids, NC, Mary Burnette (John) of Forest Heights, MD and Annie Porter (James) of Waldorf, MD. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Because of Covid-19, the wearing of masks, social distancing, and limiting the number of persons in attendance will be practiced.
