He was predeceased by: his parents, Ocy Thomas and Addie B. Green Thomas; and his wife Sarah Jane Clanton Thomas. He is survived by: his siblings, Dorothy Murray, Delores Johnson of Boston, MA, Jerome Thomas of Richmond, VA and Lewis Thomas (Geraldine) of Nashville, TN; his close friend Carolyn Thorne of Littleton, NC; and his godson Anjoylus "JoJo" Brinkley III of Henderson, NC. He is also survived by nieces, nephews; and a multitude of other family members and dear friends.
Viewing was held on Friday, January 17th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 5:00 PM and on Saturday, January 18th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM. A funeral service was held on Saturday, January 18th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Roanoke Chapel Missionary Baptist Church (1991 Roanoke Chapel Rd, Littleton, NC 27850).
