He was predeceased by: his parents, Archie Young and Willie Mae Palmer Young; and his siblings, Elizabeth Spencer, Dorothy Briggs and Nelson Young.
He is survived by: his friend Brenza Manley; his siblings-in-law, Shirley and Donna Paige; his friend Luther Alston; his nieces, Janice Vaughters (John) of Baltimore, MD and Doris Harris (Terry) of Baltimore, MD; and his godchildren, Shanetta Holder of Sumter, VA, Tampa Gaither of Brooklyn, NY, Cami Roberson of Argentina and Matt Louis Taylor, Jr. of Georgia. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, friends.
Because of Covid-19, the wearing of masks and social distancing will be practiced at the discretion of each individual.
