She was predeceased by: her parents, Willis Brinkley and Annie Bell Coppage Brinkley; her siblings, Frank Brinkley, Willis Brinkley, Jr., Mary Clawson, Lula Newell and Nettie Burgess; and her children, Dr. Otelia Royster of Knightdale, NC, Hazel L. Burgess of San Diego, CA and Elmond Ray Burgess of Salisbury, NC.
She is survived by: her grandchildren, Dr. Amiee Richardson (Darrell) of Nashville, NC and Minister Gregory L. Royster; her brother Leroy Brinkley of Littleton, NC; and her children-in-law, Jeanette Burgess of Richmond, VA, Gladys R. Burgess of Littleton, NC, Diane Burgess of Salisbury, NC, Deacon Milton Royster of Littleton, NC and Kenneth Davis of California. She is also survived by great-nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
Because of Covid-19, the wearing of masks and social distancing will be practiced at each person's own discretion.
