Annie Schuster Matthews Obituary
We are sad to announce that on November 23, 2024, Annie Schuster Matthews of Littleton, North Carolina passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Wade Forest Schuster, Sr. and Mary Walker Schuster; her husband James C. Matthews, Sr.; her children, Mary Blanche Matthews and James C. Matthews, Jr.; and her siblings, Margaret Hicks Tart, Charles "Buck" Schuster and Therman Rogers "Pete" Schuster.
She is survived by: her daughter Katherine Matthews Norwood (Dennis) of Norlina; her grandchildren, Kimberly N. Moore (Keith) of Wake Forest, Nicholas Norwood (Jennifer) of Tarboro and Ryan Norwood (Janice) of Winston-Salem; her great grandchildren, Kaitlin, Konnor Moore of Wake Forest, Caden, Easton, Brinley, Mya and Eddie Norwood of Tarboro; and her siblings, Gracie Tingen (David) of Henderson, Gladys Evans (Melvin), Hazel Lloyd of Henderson, Wade F. Schuster, Jr. (Sherry) of Henderson and Cheryl King (Randy) of Warrenton. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Saturday, November 30th 2024 from 1:30 PM to 2:45 PM at the Zion Methodist Church (143 Zion Church Rd, Norlina, NC 27563). A burial was held on Saturday, November 30th 2024 at 2:45 PM at the same location. A funeral service was held on Saturday, November 30th 2024 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
