Wendell Myers Obituary
We are sad to announce that on December 4, 2021, at the age of 73, Wendell Myers of Linwood, North Carolina passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Burley Clyde Myers and Anna Rimmer Harris; and his sister Melinda Gail Lamb. He is survived by: his wife Deborah Adele Turner Myers; his daughters, Jennifer Hedrick (Sonny) of Statesville, Leigha Myers Wilson of Linwood and Christina Maureen Myers of Linwood; his stepdaughter Joy Turner Thompson (Timothy) of Raleigh; his grandchildren, Cole, Trace, Taylor Hedrick, Jasmyn, Kyla, Sierra White, Zion and Olivia Thompson; and his brother Burley Myers of Statesville. He is also survived by numerous other family members and friends.
The family will receive friends Friday from 1-3 PM prior to the service at the funeral home and requests that all attending the visitation and Celebration of Life services to wear face coverings to follow Covid-19 protocols.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, PO Box 1000, Department 300, Memphis, TN 38148-0552.
