He is survived by: his wife Cindy Rodden Smith; his sons, Neal Smith (Kristen) of Asheboro and Adam Smith (Keri) of Lexington; his siblings, David Smith (Bonnie) of Salisbury and Kaye Smith of Linwood; and his grandchildren, Riley Smith and Grant Smith.
