It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Pearl L Simmerson (Linwood, North Carolina), who passed away on October 13, 2018, at the age of 97, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Trely Eli Luffman and Ruth Love Luffman; and her husband William "Bill" Simmerson. She is survived by: her children, Lee Simmerson of Greensboro, NC and Sandra K. Goss of Linwood, NC; and her siblings, Billy Luffman of Lexington, NC, Margret Baker and Rachel Smith of Winston Salem, NC. She is also survived by two grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
