She was predeceased by: her fathers, Edward Baucum and Brent Leake Baucum; her husband Robert Young, Sr.; her son Robert Young, Jr.; her sisters, Anne Worthy and Ernestine Young; her grandson Pete Barnes, Jr.; and her siblings, Charles Baucum, George Baucum, Marshall Smith, Jr., Esther Rector, Shirley Smith, Christine Smith, Bernice Robinson and Nellie Parker.
She is survived by: her children, Steve Young, Wilma Broadie, Veloa Davis and Debbie Young; and her brother Edward Baucum. She is also survived by 13 grandchildren, 24 great-grandchildren and 9 great-great-grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
