Kature Brock Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Kature Brock (Linwood, North Carolina), who passed away on March 23, 2018 at the age of 94. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Kature Brock to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parent Benjamin Robert Moore of Farmville; her husband Linwood M. Brock (Shorty); and her siblings, Gladys Pittman, Horace Moore and Herbert Moore.
She is survived by: her parent Effie Hobgood Moore of Farmville; her children, Kathy Brock Harris (John) of Tarboro and Joseph Robert Brock (Bonnie) of Raleigh; her grandchildren, John Brock Harris (Kira) of Davidson, Miranda Katura Brock of Hillsborough and Tyler Spence Harris (Sonja) of Elkins Park, PA; her great grandchildren, Ethan, Lilly, Maddox and Benjamin; and her sisters, Edna Earle Pittman of Fayetteville and Geraldine Bentley of Brookhaven, PA. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Music Department or the Baptist Mens Ramp Projects at First Baptist Church, 605 Main Street, Tarboro, NC 27886 or to an animal rescue of choice.
