She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Lee Ribelin and Ellie Louise Ribelin; her daughter Debra Lanier Waters; and her siblings, Donald Ribelin, Bobby Ribelin and Louise Bryant.
She is survived by: her sisters, Mildred Rabon of Linwood and Marian Gordon of Lexington; and her son-in-law David B. Waters of Linwood. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
