He was predeceased by: his parents, Lloyd Lemly and Wilma Morgan Lemly; his wife Joyce Hunnicutt Lemly; his sister Janie Trexler; and his son-in-law Tony Gegorek.
He is survived by: his daughter Angie Gegorek of Linwood; his grandchildren, Shelby Knotts (Dakota) of Linwood and Chris Gegorek (Shelley) of Chapel Hill; his great grandchildren, Emma, Ryan Knotts and Adam Gegorek; his daughter Cindy Beaver (Brent) of Spencer; his granddaughter Jessica Smith (Amy); and his great grandchildren, Ella and Finley Smith.
In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to the Hospice House of Rowan County.
