He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Theodore Roosevelt and Agnes Preswood Shook; his brother Allen Shook; his wife Judy Shook; his children, Angela Grubb (Tim) of McDowell County, Donna Hendrix (Ricky) of Tyro and Eric Shook (Krissi) of Advance; his grandchildren, Ashley Waters (J. J.), Joshua Grubb, Chesney Shook and Jackson Shook; his great grandchild Ellie Waters; his siblings, Garry Shook (Beth) of Avery County and Judy Langley (Mike) of Wallburg; and his pet Abby. He was also cherished by many nieces and nephews; lifelong family friends; special classmates.
