She was predeceased by: her parents, William E. "Pete" Ward and Jewell Carlan Ward; her husband Donald R. Simerson; her brother Grover Ward; and her grandson Aaron Simerson.
She is survived by: her sons, William "Billy" Simerson (Angie) and Douglas "Doug" Simerson; her grandchildren, Jenny Brinkle (Jason), Cody Simerson (Hannah) and Jordan Simerson; her great grandchildren, Emma Jean Brinkle, Eva Lynn Brinkle, Ada Belle Simerson, Willow Mae Simerson and Finley Kate Simerson; and her sisters-in-law, Millie Ward and Maxine Simerson Brooks.
