It is always difficult saying goodbye to someone we love and cherish. Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Guy Halsey of Linwood, North Carolina, who passed away at the age of 16, on September 7, 2021. He is survived by: his parents, Mark Halsey (Anna) of High Point and Jennifer Duncan Halsey (Josh Wagner) of Lexington; his sister Madelyn Nicole Halsey of Lexington; his grandparents, Samuel, Susan Halsey of High Point and Bryan Walton; and his stepsister Kimberly Walton.

“Guy was the first kid I'd look for when I got to Camp Twitch and Shout. Every year I'd ask my mom "Is Guy coming this year?" I'm so grateful for all the memories we had, skipping spirit time to hang with Jake and Xander instead of cleaning up, how much fun (and sweat) you had when we played Ga-Ga Ball, all our antics in the cabins, and for how you accepted me for who I am. Everybody wanted to be Guy's friend. I'm so lucky that I had that opportunity. See you again someday, fly high.”
