He was predeceased by: his parents, Mary Fern Mahoney Hilton and Lloyd Hilton; his stepmother Mayme Irene Reade Hilton; his siblings, Evelyn Juanita Hilton, Charles Lloyd Hilton and Wayne Russell Hilton; his wife Jean Spry Hilton; his stepdaughters, Linda S Varner of Lexington, Patricia S Pearce of Kernersville and Cynthia S Gilbert of Mocksville; and his brothers, Clifford Skip Maulden, Robert Allen Hilton and Kenneth Michael Hilton.
He is survived by: his nieces, Jennifer, Laura and Kendra; his nephew Jared; and his great-nieces and great-nephews, Stephanie, Hannah, Morgan, John, Hunter, Logan and Dakota. He is also survived by 6 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren and two great great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, November 26th 2024 from 1:15 PM to 2:00 PM at the Piedmont Funeral Home (405 S Main St, Lexington, NC 27292). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, November 26th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
