He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Banks Sharpe and Lucy Yow Sharpe; his sister Betty Sink; and his brother-in-law Dale Beck. He is survived by: his wife Ruth Walser Sharpe; his sons, Bryan Sharpe (Melody) and Kevin Sharpe (Beth); his siblings, John Sharpe (Ellen), Robert Sharpe (Brenda), Arnold Sharpe (Susan) and Sarah Beck; and his grandchildren, Daniel (Hannah), Noah (Madeline), Olivia, Gabriel, Jordan and Lily.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Jersey Baptist Church, 2920 Jersey Church Road, Lexington, NC 27292.
