He was predeceased by: his mother Doris Jones Matthews. He is survived by: his father Bobby Matthews (Sandra) of Linden; his wife Ashley Swinson Matthews; his daughters, Madison Matthews and Kenli Matthews; his siblings, Billy Matthews of Linden, Don Matthews (Rachel) of Cherry Point and Connie Pacheco of Parkton; and his nieces and nephews, Halena, Makayla, Evan, Isabella, Don Jr. and Catherine Matthews. He is also survived by extended family and friends.
