He was predeceased by: his parents, Willie Gray Knott and John Franklin Raynor; his wife Betty Strickland Raynor; and his brother Ronald Raynor. He is survived by: his children, Kevin Maultsby of Hampstead, Cynthia McMahel (Stephen) of Wake Forest, Kimberly Raynor of Wilmington and Angela Hale (Stalling) of Phoenix, AZ; and his siblings, Donald Raynor (Beverly) of Linden, Linda Walker of New Bern, Doris Grimes (Brooks) of Fayetteville and Margie Raynor of Fayetteville. He is also survived by six grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
