He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Carol McLawhorn and Murtie Whisnant Daniels; his stepfather Linwood Earl Daniels; and his grandson Thaddeus David Burke. He is survived by: his children, Amanda McLawhorn Burke (Christopher) of Broadway, NC, Zachariah McLawhorn (Bridgette) of Rolesville, NC and Ethan McLawhorn of Linden, NC; his brothers, Danny T. McLawhorn (Patty) of Washington, NC, Kenneth Daniels (Christy) of Black Jack and Tony Lee Daniels (Kimberly) of Little Washington, NC; his stepbrother Lenny Daniels of Ayden; and his grandchildren, Hannah Taylor, Harper Burke and Zebulon Burke.
