We are sad to announce that on September 8, 2022, at the age of 91, Wilma Sue Powell Brendle (Lincolnton, North Carolina) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her father James Henry Powell; and her husband Steve Brendle. She is survived by: her children, Lynn Yount (Bruce) of Vale and Rustin P. "Rusty" Brendle of Vale; her granddaughters, Alison Yount of Moore, SC and Emily Yount Merkerson (Nicosia) of Raleigh; her great grandchildren, Daffodil and Schaefer Merkerson; and her sister Merle Powell Beal of Lincolnton.
