He was predeceased by: his parents, Paul Lear and Mildred Vincent Duvall. He is survived by: his wife Carol Duvall; his children, Julie Duvall Shives of Iron Station, Robert Duvall of Randleman, Christopher Johnson (Marie) of Rock Hill, SC and Greylin Johnson of Rock Hill, SC; his sister Kathy Stewart (Tommy) of Gastonia; and his grandchildren, Jacob Lewis, Lauren Smith, Carolyn Johnson and Alexander Johnson.
