It is with great sadness that we announce the death of William Elliott Painter of Lincolnton, North Carolina, who passed away on February 15, 2021, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Ed Pfeifer Painter and Mary Texanna Cash Painter; his wife Olivia Davis Painter; and his siblings, Olen B. Painter, Bertie Drum, Geneva Proctor, Mary Abernethy and Dorothy Painter.
He is survived by: his children, Dianne Finger (Hubby) of Lincolnton, Bill Painter (Mary) of Denver, Libby Robinson (Randy) of Lincolnton and Emily Rudolph (Rhett) of Mt. Pleasant, SC; and his sister Wilma Painter Howard of Lincolnton. He is also survived by 16 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.
