He was predeceased by: his parents, Samuel Edgar Byers, Sr. and Sarah Inez Chapman Byers; and his brother Samuel Edgar Byers, Jr.. He is survived by: his brother John Byers (Patricia) of Port St; his sister-in-law Cara Byers of Crouse; his nieces, Jacey Maule, Casandra Byers, Kaitlin Walker, Jacqueline Byers, Laura Byers and Sara Byers; and his great-niece Daisy Mae Maule.
