He is survived by: his wife Johnsie Shores Sexton; his children, Kenny Sexton Jr. (Gina), Lisa Sexton Burdick (George), Pamela Ray (Clinton) of Lincolnton, Karen (DeeDee), Green (Robert) of Thomasville, Randy Cranford (Sharon) and Jerry Cranford (Tammy) of Thomasville; his siblings, Linda Sexton Bennefield and Bobby Sexton; and his grandchildren, Robert "Rusty" Wilson, Haley Wilson, Paige Batson Chauncey, Josh Batson, Ardy Cranford, Andrew Cranford, Amy Collins, Alicia Montemayor, Lori Hicks, Tony Clark, Crystal Donovan, Carlynn Gabbard, Brandon Hill, Lindsay Cranford and Madison Cranford. He is also survived by great-grandchildren.
