He is survived by: his daughters, Deborah Rice of Lincolnton, Tamera Heavner of Murfreesboro, TN and Sherry Schick of Lincolnton; his grandchildren, Amanda Prestwood, Ben Rice and Nick Rice; and his sister Linda Patrick of Lincolnton.
