It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Wanda Irwin (Lincolnton, North Carolina), born in Omega, Georgia, who passed away on August 26, 2024, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, George Lafayette Vaughn and Blanche Mae Morris Vaughn; her husband James Dennis Irwin; her children, Matthew Gordon Bennett and Mary Denise Bennett; and her siblings, Emogine, Cecil and Albert.
She is survived by: her children, Kenneth "Ken" James Cooper (Maria), Karen Cooper Ward (Gary), Pamela Darlene Garrett (Scott) and Michael Dennis Irwin (Tonya); and her siblings, Lafayette, Sandra and Annette. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren.
