She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert L. Creech and Rosa Thomasson Creech. She is survived by: her children, Virginia "Ginger" Welch (Stephen) of Fallston and Ned Yates (Lisa) of Cherryville; her grandchildren, Josh Thompson (Brittany), Tricia Thompson, Brett Thompson and Lauren Yates; and her great grandchildren, Lily and Oliver Thompson. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
