He was predeceased by: his father William Rhyne. He is survived by: his wife Rita Byers Rhyne; his daughter Lori Rhyne Scronce (David) of Vale; his brothers, Doyle Lane Rhyne of Lincolnton and Steve Allen Rhyne of Lincolnton; his grandchildren, Cassie Mullins (Landan) of Newton and Hunter Scronce of Kings Mountain; and his great grandchild Adalee Kay Mullins.
