He was predeceased by: his parents, James Lovell and Gertrude Burgess. He is survived by: his wife Kimberly Smith Burgess; his children, Shannon Burgess of Lincolnton, Timothy Hull of Vale, Kenneth Day of Vale, Kassie Stafford of Hickory, Brittany Duncan (Keyna) of Richmond, VA and Sabrina Jones of Wilmington, NC; and his grandchildren, Makenzie, Makayla, Malorie, Jennifer, Baleigh, Phoebe of Johnny, TJ and Paisley. He is also survived by two great-grandchildren.
