He was predeceased by: his parents, Elam Crawford Goodson and Margaret Campbell Goodson. He is survived by: his wife Bobbi Beal Goodson; his children, Darrin Goodson of Rutherfordton and Stephanie Ijames (Chris) of Charlotte; his grandchildren, Columbia and Campbell; and his nephew Joshua Friday (Shalina).
A funeral service was held on Wednesday, March 12th 2025 at 2:30 PM at the Ivey Memorial Methodist Church.
