With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Shirley Russell Ballard (Lincolnton, North Carolina), who passed away on February 16, 2023 at the age of 86. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her father Jesse James Russell; her daughter Lori Dulin Lawing; and her sister Judy Robertson. She is survived by: her husband Tommy Philip Ballard; her children, Gail Dulin Hall of Fort Mill, SC, Ellen Dulin Baker (Peter) of Matthews and Harvey Dulin, Jr. of Myrtle Beach, SC; her brother Kenny W. Russell of Charlotte; and her grandchildren, Heather P. Blum, Brittany Joyner, Madison Malone and Dallas Lawing. She is also survived by ten great-grandchildren.
