It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Shirley McAlister Cline (Lincolnton, North Carolina), who passed away on April 28, 2024, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Clarence McAlister and Margie McConnell McAlister; her husband Lawrence Cline; her siblings, Carroll McAlister and Pat Fox; and her grandson Jason Lee Huffman.
She is survived by: her children, James Phillips of Conover and Rebecca Beam (John) of Iron Station; her siblings, Leonard McAlister (Lori) and Darlene Mayhew; and her grandchildren, Chad Huffman of Newton and Billie Jean Briggs (Matthew) of Mt. Holly. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
