She was predeceased by: her parents, Sherman Leon Johnson and Ella Goins Johnson; her husband Robert Garrison Putnam; and her sister Helen Miller. She is survived by: her children, Jodi Walker (Heath) of Newton and Lanny Loftin (Paige) of Lincolnton; and her stepchildren, Steve Putnam (Joyce) of Maiden and Pamela Wray (Chris) of Shelby. She is also survived by eight grandsons; three granddaughters; three great-granddaughters; and three great-grandsons.
