She was predeceased by: her parents, Hoyt Wilson Chapman and Pansy Hartzog Chapman; and her husband Donald Colvard. She is survived by: her sons, Jeff Colvard of Margate, Donald Colvard, Jr. of Lincolnton and Trey Colvard (Erin) of Phoenix, Arizona; her sisters, Cathey Whitesides of Lincolnton, Cindy Cook of Hickory, Debbie Black of Crouse and Candi Dixon of Newton; her grandchildren, Alecia Colvard, Christian Colvard, Mike Colvard and Makena Colvard; and her great grandchild Aria Colvard.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, November 12th 2024 from 1:45 PM to 2:45 PM at the St. Paul's Lutheran Church (2834 W Old North Carolina 150 Hwy, Crouse, NC 28033). A memorial service was held on Tuesday, November 12th 2024 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
