It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Shawn Ely Guiles Jr. (Lincolnton, North Carolina), who passed away on March 27, 2023, at the age of 29, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Wanda Lene Long, John Dennis Brannon and Donald Adelbert Guiles. He is survived by: his parents, Shawn Ely Guiles, Sr. of Maiden and Gena Brannon Cornell; his stepfather Wade Peace of Lincolnton; his daughter Rayleigh Elaine Guiles; his sister Samantha Le Cornell; his brother-in-law Ralph Sain (Shiane Renee Guiles) of Vale; his grandmother Barbara Cahill of Maiden; his aunt Trixie Rhyne; his uncles, Keith Hart of Lincolnton and Donnie Guiles (Russell Rhyne) of New York; and his half-siblings, Austin Peace, Levi Peace and Allyson Peace. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
