She was predeceased by: her parents, Walter Pasour and Audrey Pasour; her husband Carroll Schrum; and her siblings, Clyde Pasour, Paul Pasour and Joan Helms.
She is survived by: her children, Ron Schrum of Lincolnton, Don Schrum (Vickie) of Lincolnton, David Schrum (Julie) of Vale, Cheryl Schrum Rader (Bryan) of Lincolnton and Susan Sain (Robert) of Vale; her granddaughters, Jennifer Bollinger of Vale, Amber Cain (Sam) of Vale, Lindsey Karres (Cole) of Lincolnton and Ashley Schrum (Dakota Putnam); her great grandchildren, Leia Oglesby of Vale and Alexander Karres (AJ) of Lincolnton; her sister Louise Grigg of Bessemer City; and her sister-in-law Connie Shrum of Washington State. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
