It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Russell Delano Christopher (Lincolnton, North Carolina), who passed away on April 1, 2023, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parent Junious Ralph; his wife Frances Pittman Christopher; and his brother Riley Christopher. He is survived by: his daughter Lorie C. Parker (Mel) of High Shoals; his grandson Garrett Shelton of Stanley; and his nephew Hap.
