She was predeceased by: her parents, Walter Pinkman Beal and Annie Lee Burgess Beal; and her husband Guy Linwood Lackey. She is survived by: her daughters, Libby Beard of Lincolnton and Jan Hoyle of Lincolnton; her grandchildren, Casey Auton (Chip) of Crouse, Brian Beard (April) of Lincolnton, Traci Dellinger (Mike) of Lincolnton and Shelli Jenkins (Scott) of Lincolnton; and her great grandchildren, Cayleigh Auton, Cambrey Auton, Caleb Beard, Easton Beard, Dennan Beard, Austin Dellinger, Noah Jenkins and Cortney Jenkins.
A graveside service was held on Monday, December 23rd 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Forest Lawn Cemetery (2858 NC-150, Lincolnton, NC 28092).
