He was loved and cherished by many people including: his brother Randy Joe Eller (Ann Rabon Eller); his wife Ann; his children, April Schaubroeck (Evin, Tim Fowler), Michelle Eller and Hunter Eller; his grandchildren, Landen Schaubroeck and Mya Fowler; and his siblings, Robin McDowell (Robby) and Ricky Eller (Nancy). He was also cherished by 9 nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Boger City United Methodist Church, 2320 E Main St, Lincolnton, NC 28092 for Roger's wishes of Hunter Eller finishing his college education.
