He was predeceased by: his parents, Kelly Hugh Carpenter and Juanita Lineberger Carpenter. He is survived by: his wife Jackie Costner Carpenter; his children, Jeff Carpenter (Bonnie) of Terrell, Paula Lane (Michael) of Terrell and Kathy Marshall (Ron) of Hudson; his siblings, Ronnie Carpenter (Helen) of Lincolnton and Janet Spears (Doug) of Lincolnton; and his grandchildren, Bridgett, Sierra, Safari, Avery, Tiffany, Tabatha and Brittney. He is also survived by twelve great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts and uncles.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, April 26th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:30 PM at the Warlick Funeral Home Chapel (125 Dave Warlick Dr, Lincolnton, NC 28092). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, April 26th 2025 at 3:30 PM at the same location.
