He was predeceased by: his parents, Clarence Calvin Turner and Stella Whitaker Turner; and his daughter Stella Jannett Strange. He is survived by: his wife Margaret Ann Richard Turner; his children, Shawn Seagle of Taylorsville, Meche Williams of Myrtle Beach, SC, Kacey Turner of Lincolnton and Whittney Turner of Cherryville; his grandchildren, Kevin Nichols, R. B. Cronland, Ashley Seagle, Alea Seagle, Kaylee Braddy, Savannah Strange and Skyler Gilbo; and his great grandchild Kyler Nichols.
A celebration of life was held on Monday, April 21st 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Lincoln Avenue Baptist Church (618 S Grove St, Lincolnton, NC 28092).
