He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert William Cline, Sr. and Agnes Proctor Cline. He is survived by: his wife Trudy Meeks Cline; his children, Robert "Robby" Cline III (Tammy) of Lincolnton, Sherri Cline Rhyne (Marty) of Mt. Holly and Amanda Cline Carpenter (Larry) of Lincolnton; and his grandchildren, Trevor Cline, Camaron Kincaid, Madalyn Rhyne, Hannah Rhyne, Mary Beth Hammill (Kyle), Robbie Kate Carpenter, Kennedy and Keegan Carpenter. He is also survived by two great-grandchildren.
